A Bit About Me
I believe every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and hope. I bring patience, compassion, and a deep understanding of child development, family dynamics, and life transitions into the counseling relationship.
I hold a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education from George Mason University and a
Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. I have a special
passion for working with children, adolescents, and families while also helping adults navigate
anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life’s many transitions.
My therapeutic approach is tailored to each individual’s unique needs and incorporates evidence-
based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy
(DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Play Therapy and more. While you’re navigating anxiety,
depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, or personal growth, I strive to help you build
practical skills while discovering lasting hope and resilience.
As a Christian counselor, I am honored to incorporate biblical principles into the counseling
process for clients who desire faith-based counseling while respecting each client’s individual
beliefs and goals.
Outside of the counseling office, I enjoy serving through my local church, participating in
community outreach, spending time with my daughters, roller skating, being involved in my Life
Group, cooking for family and friends, and, whenever possible, enjoying an afternoon nap.
