A Bit About Me

I earned a Master of Education in Counseling from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor/Mental Health Service Provider and a Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor. I also hold national board certifications as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Board Certified–TeleMental Health provider (BC-TMH).

With more than 25 years of experience as a therapist, I strive to hold a safe space for healing for individuals and gatekeeping for our profession through supervision. For the past 20 years, I have proudly owned and operated two counseling practices: Knox Counseling Services PLLC in Tennessee and ReNew Me Counseling Services LLC in Tennessee and Mississippi.

I primarily provide individual telehealth therapy for adults through a HIPAA-compliant platform. My practice focuses on mood and anxiety disorders by incorporating psychoeducation, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and somatic therapy.
